As a seasoned Witcher fan who has journeyed through the Continent alongside Geralt and Ciri for countless hours, I must admit that the news of a new voice actress for Cirilla left me initially taken aback. However, upon reflection and considering the passage of time since we last saw young Ciri, it seems only fitting that a fresh talent steps into her shoes to portray the now grown-up Princess of Cintra.
The unveiling of the trailer for The Witcher 4 at this year’s TGA has stirred up quite a bit of debate among fans. The primary source of contention appears to be the character of Ciri, who has been chosen as the main character in the new game, which came as a shock to many. Opinions expressed in the comments below the trailer are divided regarding whether the actress voicing the character in the newly released trailer is indeed Jo Wyatt, who portrayed Cirilla in the previous installment of the series.
Now, Ciara Berkeley will be the voice actress for the Princess of Cintra.
For fans curious about Geralt’s destiny, any lingering questions have been put to rest as the lines “Time for a new saga. See you on the path” heard in TGA were indeed spoken by the actor who played Geralt in the third part – Doug Cockle. This means that no changes occurred in this instance, and Cockle will reprise his role as the Butcher of Blaviken once more.
In the same place, it was also confirmed that the white-haired witcher will appear in the fourth installment, but CD Projekt Red doesn’t want to reveal his role yet.
