YouTuber Vitaly has returned to the internet after being held in a very hot jail for almost 300 days. He claims the jail was overrun with rats and cockroaches.
So, this guy Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, you might know him as a YouTuber, got deported back to Russia after being stuck in the Philippines for months. Apparently, he was arrested for doing some pretty wild live streams that caused a lot of trouble. It was a whole situation!
In 2025, the content creator was arrested after a series of livestreams showed him harassing people, stealing items, making unwanted advances towards a security guard, and reportedly trying to take a weapon.

I was so shocked to hear about the streamer’s arrest, and things just got worse from there. Apparently, the conditions where he was being held were absolutely awful – YouTube’s lawyer, Legal Mindset, actually called it “jail hell!” It sounds like a truly terrible experience.
It seems that initial description was pretty accurate, as Vitaly has now explained what happened after regaining internet access.
Vitaly reveals hell-like conditions in burning hot jail
The streamer shared on X that they faced a difficult time in the Philippines, where they were isolated for nearly 100 days. They described the experience as mentally challenging, but said they persevered.
After being held in a Philippine jail for nearly ten months, enduring extreme heat and living amongst rats and cockroaches, he was finally released.
35 degrees Celsius is equal to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, consistent with earlier reports from Legal Mindset.
He explained that despite attempts to defeat him, the experience actually made him stronger. He spent 91 out of 290 days in total isolation, but ultimately persevered. He attributes his survival and strength to his faith in God.
Viraly posted many photos and videos about what happened, including a picture of the person responsible looking out at a rainstorm from jail.
I’m finally free after nearly 10 months – 290 days – in a Philippine jail. The conditions were terrible, with rats, cockroaches, and extreme heat. They tried to defeat me, but the experience actually made me stronger. I spent 91 of those days in complete isolation. They wanted to silence me, but I’m still here, and I give all the credit to God!

In one scene, the streamer is shown sitting on the floor of a packed jail cell, seemingly listening to someone speak at a religious gathering.
Even though Vitaly was previously banned from streaming on Kick, the platform’s official account publicly welcomed him back.
Whether Vitaly will create content again or what he’ll do next is unknown, but his situation serves as a serious reminder for all streamers: breaking the law while abroad has consequences.
Secretary Jonvic Remulla responded to recent reports by stating that the Philippines continues to welcome tourists. He emphasized that visitors are treated with respect, and in return, are expected to abide by the same laws and regulations as everyone else.
Despite the controversy, the country says it has no further issues with the streamer.
“We have no ill feelings against Vitaly. He has served his time, shown remorse.”
