Sting has just released a new update for their game, VIractal: World of Viractalia, bringing it to version v0.3.0. The update includes a new playable character and a new stage that features a key moment in the game’s story.
The latest update introduces a new character, Sniper Grey, and a new stage called Hell Grave. Players will face off against the Demon Lord in an epic final battle on this stage.

Hi everyone! The Viractal development team is excited to announce that our second major update, version 0.3.0, is now available!
This update includes a new stage and character, plus several improvements players have asked for, like easier ways to get cards when leveling up. We’ve also made adjustments to balance the gameplay.
Below, we’d like to introduce some of the highlights.
New Stage: “Hell Grave”
Deep inside a fiery wasteland filled with the remains of the fallen stands “Hell Grave,” the castle of the Demon Lord. This is where the heroes begin their quest to defeat him.
I’m really excited to explore this world! It sounds like the enemies aren’t just static – their weaknesses and strengths actually change depending on whether it’s Crimson Night or Azure Night. That adds a whole new layer of strategy, and I can’t wait to figure out how to use these night cycles to my advantage as I journey through this dangerous land.

New Character: “Sniper Gray”
With this update, the new character “Sniper Gray” joins the roster!
Gray perfectly embodies the classic sniper role, skillfully predicting enemy moves and capitalizing with extra damage or debilitating effects. This means carefully planning your attacks is crucial when playing as or with him.
Including Gray in your team unlocks fresh strategies and allows for unique team builds.
※Sniper Gray can be unlocked at the Transmutation Altar.
New System: “Skip” & “Reroll”
During card selection when leveling up, you can now spend DP to:
Skip card acquisition
Reroll the presented cards
Use this new system to build a powerful deck tailored to your own playstyle!

We’ve introduced a new feature called “Trail of Adventure.” It lets you carry over one Will – earned in a battle – to the next one. You can unlock this ability by defeating a mid-boss in the game.

Adjusted pedestal level-ups to allow selecting one ability from multiple options
Adjusted card selection during level-ups so no card is selected by default

【Bug Fixes】
Field
Fixed an issue where defeating the event enemy “Great Amanita” did not trigger its dedicated event
We fixed a bug where dice would sometimes roll off-screen when the camera was moved to its lowest setting in map view.
Fixed an issue where tooltip text overflowed when hovering over gold in the shop screen
Fixed an issue where towns could generate in unreachable locations in Stage 1 “Dragon’s Garden”
Battle
Fixed an issue where slime-type enemies left corpses behind when defeated by reflected damage
We fixed a problem where using an analog stick to choose cards would sometimes jump back to where your mouse cursor was. Now, card selection with an analog stick should be smoother and more accurate.
Fixed an issue where Block was gained even when HP reached 0 due to the “Alert” status effect
Abilities / Status Effects
We fixed a bug where cards that give other players Block were incorrectly showing extra Block values when abilities like “Block Human” or “Danger Sense” were being used.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know I squashed a bug! Basically, if you were getting Block from things like abilities or the ‘Steal Defense’ card, it wasn’t playing nicely with ‘Block Human’ or ‘Danger Sense’. It was messing with how much Block you actually had. I’ve fixed it now, so your Block should work as expected when those abilities are active. Sorry for the trouble!
Other
We fixed a bug that caused all of Merchant Maron’s skill cards to be automatically unlocked. If you already had these cards unlocked, you won’t be affected and can continue playing as normal.
Fixed synchronization issues during online play
Fixed issues with incorrectly configured translations
【Known Issues】
If you have “Restore Window Size” turned off in the settings and update the game from version 0.2.2 to 0.3.0, the window will briefly return to its default size the first time you launch the updated version. However, this only happens once; after that, the game will remember and use the window size you’ve set in the config.
Starting with version 0.2.3, Steam Deck input might not work when using Remote Play Together. If this happens, try enabling “Steam Client Beta Participation” in the Steam settings on the host computer – this may fix the problem.
