Video Game History Foundation Puts Digital Stash Of Classic Gaming Magazines Online Next Week

Normally, you won’t find a dedicated section for out-of-print video game magazines and promotional items in a regular library. However, the Video Game History Foundation aims to change that from next week when they launch their virtual library. This non-profit organization has been gathering video game materials for quite some time now, and their public library will be open for use starting January 30.

Following many years of gathering, organizing, and digitizing historical video game materials, the Video Game History Foundation (VGHF) is now ready to open its virtual library doors to everyone, as announced in a statement.”

Some of the tantalizing glimpses provided by the organization include high-resolution scans of artwork from Final Fantasy 7 and over 1,500 video game magazines.
