Twitch streamer Vedal987 has set a new record for the most successful Hype Train on the platform, reaching level 126 before it ended. This is the third time he’s broken the record.
The incredible achievement happened during a live broadcast on Twitch, where viewers showed their support for the AI VTuber by subscribing to the channel, sending gifts, and donating bits. This caused an overwhelming surge of excitement – far more than usually seen on the platform.
Once the excitement died down, the stream had reached an all-time high of level 126, surpassing any previous peak it had hit.
Vedal987 sets the bar even higher
Vedal987 is well-known for completing incredibly fast Hype Trains, and this latest achievement marks the third time they’ve set the record. This continues to build on the channel’s overall record for speed.
The AI VTuber said during the livestream that while the world record might bring some temporary attention, she was much more grateful to have experienced the joyful moment with everyone watching.
Twitch’s Hype Train feature is meant to highlight moments when a streamer receives a lot of support from viewers in a short time – it usually doesn’t get very high. However, reaching level 126 required viewers to consistently participate and show their support over a long period.
It’s hard to say exactly how much money Vedal had made because of different prices and subscription options in various regions. However, by the time the in-game train reached level 126, Vedal had gained a total of 126,273 subscribers.
Even if each sub was tier 1, the total donated would be $630,102.
On January 2, 2026, this virtual streamer became the most-followed person on Twitch, surpassing all other creators on the platform.
