In preparation for Masters Bangkok, Riot has unveiled the 2025 Season Capsule for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). This allows fans to show their regional pride in an elegant manner. The collection comes with the VCT Karambit melee weapon available in five different colors—one for every International League, and a VCT-themed variant as well.
For the very first time, this Valorant skin comes with five distinct chromas. At level 3, high-scoring players will be highlighted with a unique glow effect reminiscent of the Champions gun skins in Valorant. As an added bonus, purchasers will get four regional player cards and reactive gun charms symbolizing each region.
Starting February 6, I’ll be able to get my hands on the VCT 2025 Season Capsule in-game! The cost hasn’t been revealed yet, but I can hardly wait to see what they have in store for us. This launch is set to break records as the largest collection of esports-themed items ever released!
Riot explained that Team Capsules are for displaying support for your favorite teams, whereas Season Capsules emphasize regional and league pride. Additionally, by purchasing a Season Capsule, you’re helping esports organizations financially, as a percentage of the profits are returned to every team participating in the VCT.
The revenue generated from the package will be shared among the four leagues and involved teams, enabling fans to contribute financially to their preferred teams alongside their fandom.
As a passionate follower, I’ve noticed that the sales of Team Capsules have been unevenly distributed among various teams. Teams with powerful regional fan bases or significant tournament victories have reaped the most benefits, while others have faced hardships. Riot Games, however, is working diligently to establish a fairer system by ensuring equal support for all teams, aiming to level the playing field and make success more accessible for everyone.
Remember, the VCT 2025 Season Capsule is only available up until the conclusion of Masters Bangkok on March 2. So, don’t forget to get it before it’s too late!
