Riot Games has introduced Veto as Valorant’s newest Agent, number 29. They’ve shown off what this character can do, and here’s a complete overview of the Sentinel from Senegal.
During the Paris stop of the Valorant 2025 Championship tour, Riot Games unveiled Veto, describing him as an agent “empowered by an unstoppable DNA mutation.”
Veto can cancel out the abilities of his enemies, and his overall strategy focuses on throwing off his opponents’ plans. He also boasts impressive staying power and incredible sustain. Essentially, he disrupts and survives.
After introducing the new custom game mode, Skirmish – where players can battle it out in 1v1 and 5v5 matches – Veto is the next big update coming to this competitive shooting game.
Veto release date
According to a statement from Riot, Veto will be available on October 7, 2025. You can watch the trailer, which was published on October 5, below.
