Smith revealed that the new season will show what Roy has been up to in the intervening time, having worked on many cases in various parks.
The show will continue to explore Turner’s grief over the loss of his son, a storyline introduced in Season 1. However, Season 2 will focus more on change and how Turner is adapting. The unpredictable nature of the new national park will mirror his internal journey, as the environment reflects his evolving emotional state, according to Smith.
