Unlock the Lighthouse in Destiny 2’s Trials of Osiris with These Simple Steps!

In the opening event of Episode Heresy on February 14, Destiny 2’s challenging PvP activity, Trials of Osiris, came back with fresh updates, making it now the most accessible means to acquire high-level weapons in the game.

In a significant January 22 blog post, Bungie revealed their strategies for overhauling the 3v3 game mode in Trials, as hints had suggested that this would be a major change for Episode three and the final episode of the series.

Previously guarded players have had the opportunity to test out the recent changes, and early indications suggest that this revamp could prove successful. However, the pathway to the Trials’ Lighthouse laden with loot has undergone a significant transformation compared to before. Here’s a breakdown of how you can navigate the Mercury Simulation.

How to get to the Lighthouse in Destiny 2 Episode Heresy

In the context of Episode Heresy, there’s no need anymore to maintain a consecutive series of seven victories to gain access to the Lighthouse.

To earn a total of seven victories on a single Trials Passage, you’re still required. However, accumulating losses won’t hinder your ability to access the Lighthouse.

It’s worth mentioning that Saint-14 currently offers only two types of Passages: Trials of Osiris and Lighthouse. The Lighthouse can be unlocked by achieving seven victories, whereas the Trials of Osiris are designed to be a less intense and more welcoming experience for new players.

Saint-14 offers two Trials of Osiris Passages, but only one will grant access to the Lighthouse.

After achieving victories in seven matches on the Lighthouse Passage, you’ll be able to enter that area via the Crucible sub-menu within the Director. An icon representing this zone will appear above the Trials of Osiris list, similar to what is shown in the image below.

Upon reaching seven wins on a Lighthouse Passage, you can access the zone through the Crucible sub-menu.

Should you reset your Passage? Win streaks explained

Regarding resetting your Passage after achieving seven victories, it depends on your personal record. If you’re aiming for Adept Trials weapons, it’s advisable to hold off on resetting if your current winning streak is four or more matches long.

At the Lighthouse, you can obtain Adept weapons regardless of your win streak. However, to receive more drops following your initial visit, you need to maintain a winning streak of at least four games. Winning streaks beyond four increase the likelihood of obtaining rare Exotic items and extra loot.
