The concluding segment of Destiny 2’s Episode Revenant became active on January 7, featuring a new Exotic Mission called Kell’s Fall. However, it’s in this stage that Bungie has concealed most of the mysteries that make up Act 3.

In the intensified rendition of Act 2’s Tomb of Elders challenge, titled “Kell’s Vengeance,” the Guardians are assigned to brutally defeat Skolas in an all-out battle. This fierce confrontation ensues after Skolas was brought back to life by Fikrul.

If you manage to overcome the once-defeated Kell, a Fallen leader, you’ll find yourself handsomely rewarded. Among these prizes is an Emblem, and based on Light.gg’s data, fewer than 1 in 100 Guardians have this rare item in their possession.

How to unlock Kell’s Vengeance

To obtain Kell’s Vengeance, start by navigating to the Last City hub within the Director. However, it won’t be accessible right away. First, you must successfully conclude Revenant’s entire storyline, which involves completing Kell’s Fall mission at least three times before you’ll receive a prompt indicating that Kell’s Vengeance is now available for use.

Just like the Dual Destiny mission for The Final Shape’s Exotic Class Item, completing Kell’s Vengeance requires a team of at least two players. In other words, you can’t finish this mission alone and won’t be able to access it unless you have a pre-formed Fireteam ready.

Kell’s Vengeance will only unlock after completing Revenant Act 3’s story and requires a minimum of two players.

Apart from handling the Tomb of Elders’ unpredictable modifiers and challenges known as Warden’s Judgment, the final battle against Skolas demands Guardians to manage a Devouring Essence impairment that can be eliminated by vanquishing a miniboss Baron and gaining the Enhanced Essence enhancement.

Place the item inside any of the three attendants in the main room, preferably the one with a more intense red radiance compared to the others. Doing this will initiate a damage phase. There’s no impending doom timer here, so feel free to repeat these actions as many times as needed until Skolas is defeated.

Clearing Kell’s Vengeance for the first time will definitely reward you with an Exotic ship called Renunciation. On the other hand, there’s a possibility that The Revenant Redress Emblem may drop during your initial clear, but it’s not always guaranteed like Renunciation.

The chance of obtaining The Emblem from the mission isn’t specified yet, but since it’s quite rare, you might need to complete the task multiple times until the profile badge appears. Check out the gallery below for a sneak peek at the unique prizes on offer.

In addition to what’s been mentioned, you’ll have access to Seasonal Revenant weapons and a plentiful supply of Tonic reagents following each successful clear. These Tonic reagents can aid in completing Eido’s assorted Fieldwork tasks more efficiently.

Heads up, gamers! Kell’s Vengeance is a tough Master-level mission, and I recommend you’re at least Light Level 2040 to take it on. Unlike other endgame activities, there aren’t any Champion mobs here, but don’t let that fool you – this isn’t going to be a leisurely stroll. Brace yourself for a challenge!
