Fans were surprised to see the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks share anime-style artwork inspired by the popular game Umamusume: Pretty Derby on their official social media accounts.
After defeating the San Francisco 49ers on January 17, 2026, the Seahawks shared a picture online that included characters from the game Umamusume: Agnes Tachyon and Gold Ship.
The artwork depicts Agnes Tachyon, wearing Seattle Seahawks colors, passing Gold Ship to win the race. Gold Ship, sporting a San Francisco 49ers hat, looks surprised as Agnes overtakes her.
Umamusume gets unofficial collab with NFL
The post became very popular online, receiving over 88,000 likes and gaining attention from fans of Umamusume.
One fan expressed disbelief at the crossover between Umamusume and the NFL, tweeting, “No way, I can’t believe this is happening!” Another jokingly said they never predicted seeing Umamusume and the NFL connected, adding, “I definitely didn’t have that on my bingo card.”

Some people jokingly embraced the unlikely scenario, saying things like, ‘If this keeps up, the Seahawks will win the Super Bowl, and we’ll somehow get an official poster celebrating with characters from Umamusume, even though the two have absolutely nothing to do with each other – and honestly, I’d love to see it!’
Although it’s not an official partnership, this isn’t the first time the world of Umamusume has connected with real sports. Cygames, the company behind the series, has previously promoted it at horse racing events, even sponsoring a significant $300,000 Grade 1 race in the U.S.
