Tyreek Hill calls out IShowSpeed after breaking record for MLB bases run

NFL standout Tyreek Hill is challenging streaming sensation IShowSpeed head-on, taking particular aim at the YouTube personality following his achievement of breaking the world record for sprinting across Major League Baseball bases.

On February 13, Hill embarked on an attempt to shatter the global record for the quickest run through every MLB base, which has been gaining popularity on various social media platforms.

1932 marked the year when the record-breaking dash through the baseball bases was accomplished by Chicago White Sox outfielder Evar Swanson, who clocked a lightning-fast time of 13.3 seconds at approximately 18.45 miles per hour.

With utmost certainty, Hill believed he could surpass that time, and indeed, he managed to do so. He blazed past the bases in an astonishing 12.06 seconds (as per the video), and swiftly challenged his competitors to attempt breaking his impressive record.

“Aye, Speed and Noah Lyles, I bet you can’t do that. I’m out,” he said.

Although Hill’s performance hasn’t been verified by the Guinness Book of World Records or timed with an authentic stopwatch, his exceptional sprinting abilities have certainly ignited a lot of discussions on the internet, particularly after he took on one of the most prominent figures in the online world, IShowSpeed.

ISOSpeed and Hill share an interesting past, their rivalry ignited in November 2024 following an incident where ISOSpeed matched strides with Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles during a $100K race arranged by the renowned figure, MrBeast.

Despite Speed ultimately not winning the race, internet users were captivated by his athletic prowess. However, Hill expressed indifference, tweeting, “And track athletes like him think he can outrun me.

In December, he proposed a car race against Speed for a prize of $10,000. However, Speed upped the stakes by suggesting they make it a $100,000 race instead. He added that the earnings from this competition could be donated to a charity.
