Twitch streamer John ‘Swifty’ Pyle says his account has been permanently banned from the platform after he did several broadcasts while making food deliveries.
Twitch has quickly become a launching pad for many new online personalities. But even with all the fresh faces, plenty of original streamers—those who’ve been around since the early days of Justin.TV—are still thriving on the Amazon-owned platform.
John Pyle, known online as Swifty, has been a regular streamer since 2011, focusing mainly on player-versus-player combat in World of Warcraft. He says he’s maintained a clean record for over 14 years, never receiving a ban.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about this, and even Esfand thinks a permanent ban would be way too harsh if that’s what happens. It just seems crazy to me if they actually go through with it!
Swifty plans to challenge the ban in hopes of restoring his channel, but it remains suspended for now.
