Twitch streamer gets 2-day ban after showing pay-per-view Capcom Cup in glasses reflection

Twitch streamer sonic_sol was suspended from the platform for two days after trying to show a pay-per-view broadcast of Capcom Cup’s Top 16 by reflecting it on his glasses during a stream.

So, Capcom just announced that next year’s big fighting game event, the 12th one, is going to be a pay-per-view thing. Most of the tournament is still free to watch, which is awesome, but if you want to see the Top 16 players battle it out, you’ll need to buy a virtual ticket. They’re gonna cost somewhere between $27 and $40, depending on what you get.

2 day vacation, I’ll be alright 👍

Twitch hasn’t officially said why the ban happened. Although it occurred right after the stream where a reflection in glasses was visible, it’s not confirmed that this was the reason.
