As a fellow gamer and streamer who has had my fair share of embarrassing moments while streaming, I can empathize with young Twitch star ‘2xRaKai’. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and try to outdo our idols, like IShowSpeed, but sometimes that enthusiasm leads to painful consequences.

2xRaKai, a young Twitch streamer, suffered an uncomfortable mishap while trying to execute a backflip similar to IShowSpeed’s.
Internet sensation IShowSpeed is well-known for executing incredible physical feats, like leaping over approaching sports vehicles or attempting to set a new global record by performing the maximum number of backflips within a 24-hour period.
From what can be gathered, it appears that Streamer Speed’s excitement has ignited a spark among other streamers, as suggested by a broadcast from Twitch creator RaKai on December 29.
16-year-old RaKai, a popular Twitch streamer, is recognized for his lively streams and close friendship with Kai Cenat. In fact, RaKai’s fanbase significantly grew after he featured on Kai’s Mafiathon 2 broadcast, and now, he has more than 333K followers on Twitch.

In the evening of December 29th, RaKai chose to demonstrate his abilities by attempting a backflip just five minutes into his live broadcast.
In an effort to gain a boost, he employed his bedroom door as a stepping stone, only to fall backward and land painfully on his knee, causing an injury.

The live-streamer jumped back in discomfort, then carefully left the floor behind, stating afterwards that he couldn’t bear any weight at all on his affected limb.
In about forty minutes, her son’s cries grabbed her attention. Trying to assist him from the floor, she became concerned when he mentioned his knee being “stuck,” fearing a possible trip to the emergency room.
Even though it seemed like he was in discomfort, RaKai carried on with his live stream for a couple more hours as his mother voiced her concerns about the recent event. Later, they both agreed that he probably injured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), noting how noticeably swollen his knee appeared.

RaKai acknowledged he had been going to great lengths for the video. “I need to stop that behavior, man. What on earth am I up to?
Fortunately, he managed to apply an ice pack to his knee using some refrigerated vegetables. So far, it seems that the streamer is unharmed – although he’s not the first broadcaster to experience a fall while on-air.
In July 2024, live-streamer YourRage astounded viewers when an axe he was using to split firewood unexpectedly detached from its handle and struck him in the eye. Similarly, in the same month, League of Legends broadcaster ‘Thebausffs’ lost his footing and accidentally hit his head, causing a gash that was visible during his live stream.
