Twitch and Kick streamers banned after street race ends in high-speed crash

On November 29th, Twitch streamer Melt and Kick streamer Marinotlive crashed their car while driving on a Georgia highway and broadcasting the trip live to their audience.

Melt was streaming a drive on Twitch with three people in his car. At the same time, Marinotlive was streaming the same drive on Kick, following Melt in another car.

Videos shared on X and Reddit show the two creators driving quickly through city streets late at night before the incident.

Clip shows high-speed lane crossing before impact

A video posted on the subreddit r/Livestreamfails shows Marinotlive speeding and swerving through traffic before crashing into the back of Melt’s car. The collision happened live on both of their streams, and viewers could hear passengers screaming as the car spun out of control towards the center of the highway.

Another video shared on X shows the scene after the crash, with Melt’s car badly damaged on the side of the highway. Several people at the scene sustained injuries, but thankfully, none were serious.

I saw a lot of people on X saying this wasn’t the first time Melt had crashed while streaming – some even claimed it was his third! And it turns out people on Reddit were saying the same thing, that this wasn’t his first or even second stream to go down. It seems like it’s happened before, unfortunately.

After videos quickly spread online, people realized both livestreams were no longer available. Melt’s Twitch account has been banned, and Marinotlive’s page on Kick is currently inaccessible. As of now, neither creator has publicly commented on what happened.
