Twilight vs. Hunger Games: Jennifer Lawrence’s Answer Might Surprise You

Jennifer Lawrence recently shocked fans while appearing in an interview with her “Die My Love” co-star, Robert Pattinson. During a segment of Variety’s Lie Detector Test, she surprisingly admitted which franchise she thought was better – “The Hunger Games” or “Twilight.”

Jennifer Lawrence says Twilight is cooler than The Hunger Games

Jennifer Lawrence recently revealed something surprising in an interview with Vanity Fair, and fans of both The Hunger Games and Twilight quickly noticed. She shared the information during a game of truth or lie as part of the magazine’s video series, where she and her interviewer took turns asking questions.

Pattinson playfully asked Jennifer Lawrence if it was true she had once auditioned for the role in Twilight. Lawrence confirmed with a laugh that she had. He then wondered if she ever wished she’d gotten the part, but she quickly replied, “No.”

The actor from Twilight then playfully asked Jennifer Lawrence if she thought The Hunger Games was better than Twilight. Lawrence surprised him again by saying it wasn’t, and a lie detector test showed she was telling the truth, which made both of them laugh.

Robert Pattinson, famous for playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies between 2008 and 2012, seemed entertained by her response, playfully calling it “breaking news.” Jennifer Lawrence, who starred as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games films, joked that the lie-detector test must have been faulty.

During the interview, Pattinson said he’d be happy to play Edward Cullen again if another Twilight movie was ever made. He enthusiastically agreed with Lawrence’s question about returning to the series, simply saying, “Oh yeah, for sure.”

The conversation happened while Pattinson and Lawrence were promoting their movie, Die, My Love, a film directed by Lynne Ramsay. The movie is a darkly comedic and dramatic story about a couple struggling with the challenges of raising children and feeling alone.
