Trump Names Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight as ‘Special Ambassadors’ to ‘Troubled’ Hollywood: They’ll Bring ‘Lost Business’ Back

The President-elect, Donald Trump, envisions a revitalized Hollywood, stronger than it’s ever been before. To achieve this, he intends to assign Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight as “special representatives.” Their mission will be to regain business that has been diverted to foreign countries.

I’m delighted to share that Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone have been appointed as Special Ambassadors to a place facing significant challenges, the iconic Hollywood in California. They will act as my special representatives, tasked with revitalizing Hollywood, which has seen a decline in domestic business over the past four years due to foreign investments. Their roles will be to bring Hollywood back, making it more vibrant, successful, and powerful than ever before! These talented individuals will provide insights and suggestions that I believe will lead to significant progress. Once again, just like America itself, we’ll usher in what could be known as the new Golden Age of Hollywood!

Four days prior to his inauguration in Washington D.C., Trump made an announcement, amidst the devastation caused by wildfires that have razed thousands of homes and buildings in Southern California’s Los Angeles region. The financial toll on businesses is substantial, with estimates reaching approximately $250 billion.

2024 saw a drop in domestic box office earnings compared to the previous year, due to the impact of the 2023 actors and writers strikes on the Hollywood release schedule. This decline resulted in revenues of approximately $8.7 billion, representing a 3.3% decrease from 2023 and a substantial 23.5% drop compared to 2019, which had recorded earnings of $11.3 billion prior to the pandemic.

As a movie buff and political observer, I’ve taken note of the evolving dynamics among some Hollywood heavyweights and their political stances. In recent times, Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, and Jon Voight have shown strong support for former President Donald Trump.

Stallone, in a move that echoed the excitement leading up to a blockbuster premiere, introduced the President-elect at a grand gala held at Mar-a-Lago last November, likening him to the first George Washington. Gibson, much like a character preparing for his next big role, publicly declared his backing for Trump and criticized the intelligence of Vice President Kamala Harris before the 2024 election. Voight, reminiscent of an actor sharing insights in a cover story, delved deep into his appreciation for Trump in an interview for EbMaster last year.

These actors’ political affiliations add another layer to their on-screen personas and public images, making for an interesting narrative that continues to unfold.
