The popular Touhou Project game, originally known as Youyou Kengeki Musou, is getting a remastered version called Touhou: Blossom Blade on January 22nd. The original creators, Ankake Spa, will release the game on PC through Steam. Separately, Phoenixx will bring the game to Nintendo Switch, with pre-orders starting on the Nintendo eShop on January 15th.
Ankake Spa first released the game on physical CDs at the Comic Market 81 event in late December 2011. It’s an action RPG where you play as Konpaku Youmu and battle against Hakurei Reimu, the main character from the Touhou series.

＜Story of Touhou: Blossom Blade＞
Konpaku Youmu handles gardening, security, and sword training for Yuyuko Saigyouji, who owns the mansion Hakugyokurou.
One day, after Youmu criticized Yuyuko for not practicing enough, Yuyuko pointed out Youmu’s own lack of skill and declared there would be no training until she improved. Yuyuko then challenged Youmu to prove herself by defeating Hakurei Reimu, the shrine maiden who had repeatedly saved Gensokyo from trouble.
Youmu wasn’t thrilled with the situation, but understanding she lacked experience, she agreed to her mistress’s terms and headed for Gensokyo. Now, she faces a challenging journey – can she survive the dangers ahead, beat Reimu, and demonstrate her abilities to Yuyuko?
