I just got back from Tokyo Game Show 2025 and Com2uS, led by CEO Jae-Kwan Nam, really killed it! They had a huge booth where they were showing off their new RPG, TOUGEN ANKI Crimson Inferno. It was super popular – I was there from September 25th to 28th and the booth was packed the whole time with gamers from all over the world. Everyone seemed really excited about the game!
Inspired by the TV anime TOUGEN ANKI (桃源暗鬼), which premiered in July 2025, TOUGEN ANKI Crimson Inferno attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors who were excited to try the game before its official release.
The event had many fun activities. These included a stamp rally where participants could win acrylic keychains, stickers, and fans; opportunities for demo players to give feedback through surveys; and photo challenges on social media for people visiting the booths.
The event featured stage programs like live interviews with the voice actors from the game and anime, and photo opportunities with popular cosplayers dressed as the main characters. This excited both video game players and anime viewers.
The game’s testing area, where people could play on both computers and mobile devices, was a big hit. Attendees got to unlock different characters, fight battles, and see each character’s special moves, which caused lines to form throughout the day. Players especially liked how the game felt, with comments like, “It felt like stepping into the shoes of the TV anime’s protagonist,” and “The high-quality action sequences make battles even more exhilarating.”
The booth was designed to fully immerse visitors in the game’s dark fantasy world, using a bold red-and-black color scheme and showcasing impressive concept art on large screens. This design really caught people’s eye. Also, stage presentations gave attendees early looks at the game, which were well-received by critics.
Seeing the voice actors from the TV anime and game in person, along with professional cosplay photo shoots, really got fans excited about the franchise. The booth also featured fun things to do like a themed photo area, a stamp rally where visitors could win prizes, chances to meet popular influencers, and other activities that kept it crowded all day long.
Moving forward, Com2uS intends to keep the momentum from Tokyo Game Show going by consistently interacting with players worldwide through the game’s official website and social media platforms leading up to its launch.
TOUGEN ANKI Crimson Inferno is an RPG currently in development. It aims to accurately recreate the story and characters from the anime series, while offering exciting, action-packed battles. These battles will be brought to life with detailed 3D visuals and cinematic direction. The game’s official Steam page is now available, and developers are working to ensure it can be played on both mobile devices and PCs with cross-play functionality.
