Unburied
Let me tell you about a show you absolutely need to add to your watchlist: Unburied, currently streaming on Prime Video. It dropped on October 30th, and I’m already hooked. The story centers around Aylin, a young woman living just outside Mexico City, who possesses this incredible ability to connect with the earth itself. She doesn’t just feel the land, she uses it to help solve crimes, and honestly, it’s brilliantly done. It might be the best new show you haven’t discovered yet.
This new 7-episode series, originally in Spanish with English subtitles and dubbing, is a standout among Prime Video’s fall 2025 releases. You might remember the lead actress, Lilith Curiel, from the Netflix action series The Chosen One (2023). If you’re looking for a fresh show to watch this week, check out Unburied.
Hand of God
Don’t let the fact that it’s not brand new stop you – Hand of God remains a fantastic show to watch all at once on Prime Video. Featuring Ron Perlman (known from Sons of Anarchy) and Dana Delany (Tulsa King), this psychological drama originally aired in 2014 and has 20 episodes, each about an hour long.
Despite mixed reviews from critics, viewers really enjoyed the series Hand of God, giving it an 85% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Ron Perlman stars as Pernell Harris, a judge who thinks God wants him to take the law into his own hands. If you missed this intriguing show when it originally aired, it’s worth checking out now.
American Rust
You can stream one of the best crime dramas, American Rust, on Prime Video. It originally aired on Showtime and stars Jeff Daniels, who has won two Emmy Awards. The show is based on a popular novel by Philipp Meyer and follows Del Harris, a police chief in a small town, as he investigates a complex murder.
Viewers generally liked American Rust, giving it a 78% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. While critics weren’t impressed with the first season in 2021, they had a more positive reaction to season 2 in 2024, which earned an 80% score. If you’re a fan of Jeff Daniels, this show is definitely worth watching – he delivers an outstanding performance.
Reacher
Looking for a gripping show to watch on Prime Video? You can’t go wrong with Reacher. While the fourth season isn’t coming until later in the year, a new series focusing on Reacher’s friend Frances Neagley is expected to premiere in early January.
Jack Reacher, a former military police officer who now travels the country taking justice into his own hands, is a compelling hero for an action-packed crime series. With three seasons and 24 episodes available, and a high 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Reacher is a solid choice for your next binge-watch.
Malice
This week, Prime Video’s biggest new release is the 6-part thriller series Malice, premiering on Friday, November 14th. The show stars David Duchovny and Jack Whitehall, and follows a seemingly pleasant tutor (Whitehall) who secretly has a hidden agenda for revenge against a rich family he begins to work for.
With only a few new shows premiering on Prime Video this month, and given David Duchovny’s popularity, Malice is likely to be a hit and one of the platform’s most-watched programs in the coming days and weeks.
Looking for a new thriller to watch? Malice is a great choice and is now available to stream on Prime Video.
