House Of David

As a movie lover, I’d pitch this story as a tragic fall from grace. It’s about King Saul, a powerful ruler who gets undone by his own arrogance. Meanwhile, this unlikely hero, David – just a shepherd, really – is chosen to be the next king. It’s a classic setup, full of potential for drama and compelling characters.

This fall, House of David has become a popular show on Prime Video. It’s currently the fourth most-watched series in the U.S. and is being praised as one of the best recent historical dramas based on the Bible, with a strong audience score of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf

As a film buff, here’s how I’d pitch this story: It centers around Ben Edwards, a former Navy SEAL who suddenly finds himself out of the military. He’s quickly recruited by a shadowy CIA operative, and that’s when things get really interesting. The story follows Ben as he navigates the complex, often morally ambiguous world of secret intelligence, forcing him to confront tough questions about what he’s willing to do and what lines he won’t cross. It’s a classic setup with a lot of potential for suspense and character development.

Even though The Terminal List: Dark Wolf first came out in August 2025, it’s still a very popular show on Prime Video. This 7-episode action thriller is a prequel to The Terminal List and features Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt.

Fallout

After a nuclear war turns Los Angeles into a wasteland, the few people who survive are forced to live in underground bunkers, hiding from radiation, mutated creatures, and dangerous bandits.

The popular show Fallout, based on the video game series, is still a huge success for Prime Video and is currently the second most-watched series in the U.S. Season two will arrive on December 17th and is expected to make Fallout a global streaming phenomenon, potentially earning more Emmy awards. If you’re looking for something to watch on Prime Video this month, Fallout is the perfect choice.
