If you’re looking for something great to watch on Prime Video this weekend, February 20th to 22nd, 2026, I’ve got some recommendations! There are a bunch of really popular shows everyone’s talking about, and some amazing, lesser-known series that are totally binge-worthy – you can easily finish them in a couple of sessions.
As a total film and TV buff, I’ve been keeping tabs on what everyone’s watching, and right now, three shows on Prime Video are absolutely dominating the charts – both here in the US and globally! They’re all brand new originals, and honestly, if you haven’t started them yet, you’re going to be hearing a lot about them this weekend. Seriously, these are the shows everyone will be talking about!
Beast Games
Season 2 of Beast Games is proving to be a hit on Prime Video, becoming one of their most popular shows of 2026 since it premiered in January. Nine episodes have already been released, and the season will conclude with its final episode on Wednesday, February 25th.
Beast Games has been picked up for a third season and is quickly becoming one of the best new reality competitions available. The second season is especially exciting, teaming up with Jeff Probst from Survivor to create a thrilling battle between physical strength and intelligence.
56 Days
The new Prime Video series, 56 Days, which premiered just days ago, is quickly becoming a hit with viewers. This romantic thriller and murder mystery is based on a popular novel and tells the story of a passionate but unhealthy relationship that ends in tragedy.
Featuring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, the series 56 Days tells the story of a tragic romance and keeps you guessing until the very end. It’s a suspenseful mystery where viewers try to figure out who committed the crime, with a surprising twist. If you liked the Netflix thriller His & Hers, you’ll probably enjoy binge-watching 56 Days on Prime Video this weekend.
Cross
As a huge fan of the Reacher series, and counting down the days until season 4, I’ve been absolutely hooked on Cross on Prime Video! It’s the perfect way to tide me over. The show just started its second season with a strong three-episode launch, and they released the fourth episode this week – with eight total planned, I’m already completely invested!
Similar to the popular series Reacher, Cross is based on a well-known crime thriller book series and aims to become a major franchise for Prime Video. Starring Aldis Hodge as the smart but complex detective Alex Cross, the show blends action and psychological suspense, making it a highly engaging and trending series perfect for a weekend binge on Prime Video.
