17 Expedition: Titan is the newest feature in No Man’s Sky, enabling us to explore purple star systems that were introduced in the Worlds Part 2 update. This exciting addition also offers the opportunity to acquire various rewards, such as a new exclusive ship. To obtain these rewards, you must complete specific tasks or milestones. In this article, we’ll discuss strategies for completing the Bottled Lightning quest from Phase 2. How to collect Storm Crystals and complete Bottled Lightning in NMS

To achieve the “Bottled Lightning” milestone in No Man’s Sky, you need to gather seven Storm Crystals (and if you require Sea Glass as well, we can assist you with that). Where might these crystals be found? Storm Crystals are often spotted on planets with severe weather conditions. A good place to start your search would be Gas Giants, as they tend to have a high concentration of these crystals. Fortunately for us, our expedition commences on one such planet. Keep an eye out for “Storm” on any world, then use your Analysis Visor and begin searching for this peculiarity.

As a gamer, I see those bright yellow streaks on my visor, so when I spot that unique symbol, it’s time to move in that direction. All I need to do now is gather seven of them. For successfully completing Bottled Lightning, I’ll receive a Pre-packaged Advanced Mining Laser Unit and a Pre-packaged Haz-Mat Gauntlet Unit.
