Miss Penny wasn’t a main character on the TV show, but fans got to know her through posts and updates about Tiny Chef on social media.

The Tiny Chef Show announced some heartbreaking news on Instagram. They explained that the team recently gathered with Chef, surrounded by blankets and his favorite stuffed animals, to tell him that Mish Pinny had passed away.

Many tears have been shed as we mourn the loss of a truly special person. Chef is heartbroken and struggling to find the words to express his grief. Chef and Mish shared an incredibly rare and beautiful connection, and it was a joy to witness their love. The team created this tribute to honor her memory, for Chef and for everyone who knew and loved her.

We’re so grateful for all the love and support you show Chef, and he could really use some extra kindness this week. Instead of our usual videos, we’ll be sharing all of our favorite heartwarming moments of Cheffy and Mish Pinny as a tribute to her. Thank you, Mish Pinny, for being the best! You’ve captured our hearts and made a real impact on our lives. We love you forever.

I was totally obsessed with this show! It was just so fun to watch, with all the cute cooking and Tiny Chef being, well, totally unique. I was devastated when Nickelodeon canceled it at the end of 2025, but thankfully, the fans – including me! – rallied together and launched a crowdfunding campaign that actually brought the show back! It was amazing to see how much everyone loved it.
