Timothée Chalamet’s Bloodiest & Steamiest Movie Is Heading to Free Streaming

Okay, movie lovers, here’s a heads-up! If you’re a fan of Timothée Chalamet – and let’s be honest, who isn’t? – you’ll be happy to know Tubi is streaming his 2022 film Bones and All for free. And you don’t have long to wait – it’s available to stream starting tomorrow! It’s great to see a solid film like this land on a platform like Tubi, which often gets overlooked.

The movie Bones and All will be available to stream starting February 1st. It’s just one of several popular films starring Timothée Chalamet that will be added to the platform at the same time, including the romantic dramas Hot Summer Nights and Call Me By Your Name.

The film, directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by David Kajganich (based on Camille DeAngelis’ 2015 novel), centers on a teenager named Maren. She’s left by her father with only a birth certificate, some money, and a videotape explaining why he’s leaving. Maren soon discovers she’s an “eater” – someone with uncontrollable cannibalistic urges.

The film follows a woman traveling across America in the late 1980s. She’s an experienced ‘eater’ with a remarkable sense of smell, and she meets Lee, a young man with similar urges, with whom she develops a passionate but disturbing connection. The cast also includes Anna Cobb as Lee’s sister, Kayla, André Holland as Maren’s father, Frank, and Chloë Sevigny as Maren’s mother, Janelle, who also shares this unusual appetite.

The film features Michael Stuhlbarg as Jake, another person with unusual eating habits, David Gordon Green as Brad, a police officer with disturbing tendencies, Jessica Harper as Maren’s grandmother, Barbara, and Jake Horowitz as Lance, a carnival employee. Throughout the story, each new character Maren encounters leads to another surprising discovery, and often, a horrifying death.

Critics generally praised Bones and All when it came out, but it didn’t perform well in theaters. It earned only $15.3 million despite costing about $20 million to make.

Although the film didn’t perform well at the box office, it received significant recognition, including nominations for numerous industry awards and three wins – notably the Silver Lion for Best Director and the Marcello Mastroianni Award at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. Currently, Bones and All has an 82% “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on almost 300 critic reviews.

What’s Next for Bones and All Star Timothée Chalamet?

Timothée Chalamet’s fans are eagerly awaiting his next movie. The upcoming science fiction sequel will feature him reprising his role as Paul Atreides, alongside Zendaya as Chani, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, and Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, all returning for the film.

In December, Timothée Chalamet revealed his character would be significantly older in the next film, saying he’s playing a version of himself 15 to 20 years in the future. This confirmed director Denis Villeneuve is expanding on the time jump that occurs between Frank Herbert’s novels Dune and Dune Messiah—a jump that the first two movies already established as lasting twelve years.

Chalamet still has some awards season events to attend. His latest film, Marty Supreme, was highly praised by critics, winning several awards and earning him an Oscar nomination.

Bones and All will be available for streaming on Tubi beginning Feb. 1.
