Timothée Chalamet Reunites With Lookalikes to Help With ‘SNL’ Double Duty — Including Trolling Jimmy Fallon

Timothée Chalamet is recruiting individuals who resemble him to assist him in a dual role on “Saturday Night Live” this coming weekend.

In a promotional video for the upcoming episode, Chalamet admits: “I’ve never attempted this before. This week, I’m not only hosting ‘SNL’, but also serving as the musical guest, playing songs from the Bob Dylan biopic ‘A Complete Unknown’. It’s quite a heavy workload. To ensure I can give my best to the music, I’ve enlisted some assistance to handle all the hosting responsibilities.

Four individuals resembling Chalamet show up, such as Miles Mitchell who was the winner at the New York lookalike contest that Chalamet unexpectedly attended back in October. Each one is dressed according to a different era of Timmy, featuring “Wonka” Timmy, Timmy from the Paris premiere of “A Complete Unknown” sporting a pink skinny scarf, the regular version, and of course, Bob Dylan Timmy.

The doppelgangers are seen performing some of Chalamet’s duties from his “SNL” appearances, such as meeting with the writers, rehearsing his monologue, and listening to Mikey Day boast about hosting “Is It Cake.” Moreover, when a real-life incident occurred where Chalamet failed to appear for an interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the Parisian lookalike stood in for him – which left Fallon rather disappointed.

He’s excellent, truly exceptional,” Chalamet tells his doppelgängers backstage. “Take a cue from him.
