As an ardent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that I, myself, have noticed the developers of The Blood of Dawnwalker addressing a concern that has troubled many players – the tight time constraints within the game.
In our initial reveal, you’ll notice that the inaugural game from the team behind the acclaimed Witcher series presents an uncommon feature – the protagonist must accomplish his objective within a strict timeframe of thirty days.
Some players interpreted the information quite literally, thinking that the “Dawnwalker” would force them to finish the game within its virtual time constraints. However, the title refers to the day-night cycle, which is integral to the gameplay experience (a characteristic fitting for a world ruled by vampires).
Such a gameplay solution isn’t unique, but it’s seldom employed these days. It seems that many gamers worry that this antiquated mechanism might detract from their enjoyment of exploring the game’s expansive environment.
The developers needed to address widespread worries about The Blood of Dawnwalker on various internet platforms due to its extensive discussion. To clarify, The Blood of Dawnwalker won’t impose a rigid time limit, but each quest within the main storyline will progress the action.
The game progression will only move forward once quests are accomplished, and wandering around the world doesn’t impact the time limit set by the developers. Essentially, players who enjoy exploration won’t feel pressured by the game’s developers due to a time constraint. This concept was initially outlined with the release of the last game content, but it’s reassuring to have this clarification again.
Full gameplay from The Blood of Dawnwalker will be released in the summer of 2025.
