As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for time-loop narratives and branching storylines, the announcement of RE:Choice has sent shivers of excitement down my spine! Having spent countless hours exploring the rich worlds of Detroit: Become Human and the Persona series, I can’t help but see the potential in this new endeavor from yukiarrr.
At the INDIE LIVE Expo 2024 recently, Japanese developer yukiarrr unveiled a new game called RE:Choice for PC (Steam). This is an upcoming time-loop adventure RPG planned for release on both Windows PC and macOS. As of now, a specific launch date hasn’t been disclosed yet. According to Gematsu, the concept behind RE:Choice seems to be influenced by Detroit: Become Human and the Persona series.
Regarding RE:Choice, you’ll encounter a wider range of options following every game session. The goal is to explore memory realms and vanquish monstrous entities in order to unlock hidden memories and come nearer to understanding an idol’s disappearance. Take a look at the RE:Choice announcement trailer below:

Looking forward to revealing that “RE:Choice” will make its debut digitally, during the INDIE Live Expo 2024 on December 7th, within the INDIE Waves segment.
“RE:Choice” offers an engaging time-loop role-playing game experience, as the narrative splits from its initial moments based on your choices you make throughout the game.
“I told you, with you, we can start over!”
Choices unavailable in the first playthrough become accessible starting in the second.
The course of your actions determines the narrative’s direction, offering multiple possibilities even at the outset. Leverage the ability to rewind to challenge a seemingly unavoidable destiny.
The story follows a high schooler obsessed with a popular livestreamer and their oddball companion.
When they discover their beloved idol might disappear, they employ their unique talent for recalling past events to delve into a detailed exploration of this enigmatic mystery instead.
Over the course of ten thrilling days, I find myself taking charge of my character, investigating the mysterious disappearance of an idol. Along the way, I boost my abilities, converse with intriguing characters, and sift through fragments of memory to unearth vital pieces of evidence that will help me solve this captivating mystery.
Given the limited time, just 10 days, and the daunting task of halting the vanishing, it proves to be a formidable challenge… And then, surprisingly enough, the main characters are thrust back 10 days, keeping every memory they had.
To view someone’s memories, you must defeat the sci-fi beasts lurking within their memory world.
Why have these sci-fi beasts suddenly started appearing in memories? What are they, really?
The story slowly unveils the truth behind their existence as it progresses.
Simply viewing memories won’t solve the case.
Building on the hints you’ve found, it is essential to delve deeper into the matter and at times engage in discussions with others to unlock the secret that could solve the enigma.
