I’m absolutely heartbroken to hear that Tucker Genal has passed away. His brothers, Carson and Connor, confirmed the incredibly sad news – he took his own life at just 31 years old. They shared a tribute to him, and my heart goes out to them and everyone who knew and loved Tucker.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, 31-year-old Michael Genal died by suicide at his home on December 11th.

Carson and Connor, his brothers, confirmed the news following questions from fans online. In a heartfelt Instagram post, they shared, “It’s hard to know where to start. You were my best friend and the best big brother, and I’ve always looked up to you. You were my hero my whole life, and I always tried to be like you.”

I’ll always admire you and look up to everything you were. You were the kindest, most wonderful brother anyone could have hoped for, and I’ll cherish my memories of you until we see each other again.

Tucker Genal dies via suicide at 31 years old

This TikTok creator gained a large following – over 2.5 million people – by sharing videos featuring his brothers.

The three friends also created a YouTube channel called GenalBrothers, and it had recently gained over 620,000 subscribers.

Tucker’s most recent TikTok was posted on December 11th. It was a collection of photos, one from each month of the past year.

People are leaving heartfelt messages on Tucker’s recent posts to honor him. One fan wrote, “Life is too short. You were such a kind and genuine person, and you’ll be deeply missed. Rest in peace.”

I just heard the news a couple of hours ago and I’m still reeling – it’s so hard to believe someone so amazing is gone. Honestly, I teared up and it really hurts. Why did you have to leave us, Tucker? Sending all my love and condolences to his family and friends. Thanks for all the good times, Tucker, we’ll miss you.
