TikTok Star Mr. Prada Faces Death Penalty for Alleged Murder of Therapist

Social media personality Mr. Prada has been apprehended, accused of first-degree murder and hindering justice, following claims that he took the life of his psychotherapist.

20-year-old Terryon Ishmael Thomas, commonly recognized as ‘Mr. Prada’ by his 8 million TikTok followers, was taken into custody on October 1st due to suspected involvement in the murder of his therapist, William Nicholas Abraham, aged 69.

On the 16th of January, Thomas was formally accused of first-degree murder. If found guilty in court, he may be sentenced to capital punishment.

In a stark contrast, although violent incidents occurred in an area northeast of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Thomas was apprehended in Dallas, Texas. The social media personality, under suspicion, had reportedly fled the state following a car collision involving a therapist’s vehicle and a police cruiser. However, his likeness, as seen in surveillance footage from the last driver of Abraham’s vehicle, matched Thomas, triggering the manhunt that ensued.

Beyond being accused of first-degree murder, Thomas also has charges pending for vandalism of property (of a severe nature), obstructing a police officer, and operating a vehicle without authorization.

Investigators are working to determine why Abraham was killed, an incident they suspect took place on Saturday, September 28, as his body wasn’t discovered until the next day, Sunday, September 29.

The lifeless body of Abraham was found wrapped in a tarp on Highway 51, located between Fluker and Tangipahoa Village, Louisiana. His demise was caused by severe blunt-force injuries to his head, neck, and shoulders, which the Sheriff, Gerald Sticker, characterized as a “brutally physical and extremely violent” death.

Following the disclosure of his passing, Jarrett Ambeau, Abraham’s lawyer, expressed his surprise that his “peaceful” client had been killed.

Ambeau expressed deep shock and immense sadness, stating he never thought such an incident could occur in someone he considered to be so compassionate, kind-hearted, and selfless.

Currently, Mr. Prada is still detained, as there hasn’t been a scheduled court date for his trial yet.
