TikTok is full of food reviews, and they’ve helped launch the careers of many online personalities. One example is Marquay Collins, who’s become famous on social media as Marquay The Goat.
A 24-year-old social media personality with a large following – around 7 million on TikTok and 480,000 on Instagram – recently passed away, his family announced on November 26th. They haven’t yet shared details about the cause of his death.
Sonja Collins shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook that her son, Marquay, has passed away. She lovingly referred to him as her “SnuggaBug” and her last child. Ms. Collins described Marquay as a kind and gentle soul, saying he never had a cruel thought. She expressed that she wished she had more time with him, but is grateful for the time they did share. Marquay was known for spoiling his parents, Elzie and Sonja, a habit he playfully attributed to their spoiling of him. Ms. Collins thanked everyone for their support and well wishes.

The video has gained over 5.1 million views, with fans visiting it to share their condolences for the social media personality.

Man, I’m really upset reading these comments. Someone just said they’re hurting, and another person wrote that they already miss and love Marquay so much. It’s like they were their best friend, and they’re saying goodbye until they meet again. It’s just really sad to see.
