TikTok ‘Pick-Up Artist’ Exposed: Secretly Filming Women Sparks Outrage and Police Probe

Social media personality identified as ‘itspolokid’ (real name Sayed) is currently being investigated for secretly recording women without their knowledge or permission.

Sayed, with a million followers on TikTok, frequently encounters women during shopping trips, movie outings, and particularly at the beach.

Without their knowledge, Sayed secretly films every interaction using a pair of intelligent glasses. Typically, he approaches a group or person, offering compliments seemingly spontaneously, without first seeking permission to record and disseminate the conversation.

On February 14th, Sayed walked up to a cluster of women relaxing on an Australian beach. In a straightforward manner, he wanted to make his intentions clear. He admired one of their companions, stating that she appeared quite attractive to him.

As their talk progressed, the person he was speaking to, revealed that she was in a relationship. Just before leaving, he commented to the whole gathering that they were all “attractive.

As a dedicated follower of Sayed on TikTok, I’ve shared his videos countless times. However, it has been brought to my attention by certain individuals that some of these women were not aware they were being filmed and didn’t grant permission for their footage to be used. This is concerning and needs to be addressed properly.

Woman says Sayed blocked her after asking him to take video off TikTok

In a TikTok video featuring Tahnaya Jae, she publicly stated to news.com.au that Sayed had blocked her following her request for him to remove the video he posted of her.

She mentioned that the TikToker’s smart glasses resembled common Ray-Ban sunglasses, which led her not to anticipate discovering a video of herself when she logged onto the app.

I was given a lenient treatment compared to other women in similar situations. He’s aware that his behavior isn’t acceptable. He wouldn’t have restricted access to me if it weren’t for this. It seemed like an attempt to exert control or domination.

Jae stated, “Some girls have requested that he remove their videos, but he’s not paying attention and even blocks them as well. It’s disheartening to witness how some other girls are being mistreated in the comment section.

Warning about Sayed filming women without consent issued online

A cautionary notice concerning Sayed was likewise disseminated by Bondi, a popular beach where this TikTok user often creates his content.

The post on Bondi’s community page stated that there has been a man approaching women in various public spaces throughout the eastern suburbs, such as beaches and streets. He has been secretly filming them without their knowledge when they are not expecting it.

According to a worried resident’s report, authorities have initiated an investigation into Sayed allegedly violating his contact with several females.

On February 7, 2025, authorities have started an inquiry regarding a suspected violation of the Listening Devices Act that took place at Bondi on that day.

At the moment, Sayed’s TikTok videos can still be seen, as investigations regarding him and his content are ongoing.
