The animation is so vibrant and fun, the music gets stuck in your head immediately, and it’s just a really feel-good story. It’s awesome how it’s sharing Korean pop and culture with everyone!

Okay, so you guys know how everyone’s obsessed with KPDH right now? Well, this amazing baker who’s super popular on TikTok decided to do something incredible! She actually made a cake sculpture of Rumi, the main character from the movie, it was so cool!
TikTok baker makes life-sized Rumi out of cake under 1 week
Lara Cakes is a TikTok baker with over 4 million followers who’s famous for creating incredibly large, edible sculptures made entirely of cake. She’s become well-known for her impressive creations, like a cake sculpture of Elsa from Frozen and a life-sized statue of Wolverine supporting Deadpool.
Rumi, a character from KPDH with a long purple braid and a cool look, seemed like a difficult one for Lara to recreate from the movie. But instead of being discouraged, Lara decided to take on the challenge and finish the project in under a week.
Lara started by building Rumi’s form with vanilla sponge cake and internal supports. She decorated Rumi with purple and pink layers to create her unique patterns. Then, she sculpted Rumi’s skin using white chocolate modeling chocolate and crafted her clothing from white chocolate ganache.
Lara laughed, realizing she hadn’t noticed all the intricate details on the character’s clothing until she started decorating it last, which made the task much harder than she expected. She noted the jacket had a surprising number of small elements.
Believe it or not, decorating the cake to look like Rumi turned out to be one of the trickiest parts of the whole process. But she ultimately created a pretty impressive likeness of the HUNTR/X singer, and fans were amazed.
I’m absolutely thrilled with how this one came out! Honestly, I feel like I really hit it out of the park with every single detail. As a fan, it’s just perfect!
Viewers were in agreement, with one joking, “Oh, you ATE this.”
