Many No Man’s Sky players enjoy building impressive bases instead of focusing on spaceships. Recent updates, like The Voyagers and Breach, have significantly improved base-building tools, making it even more satisfying. This amazing player creation shows just how much potential there is for building on planets within the game.
Hope there are still a few Susuwatari hiding in the attic
While Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are fantastic, I consider My Neighbor Totoro to be the best Studio Ghibli film. I’m a huge fan – my home is filled with Totoro merchandise, from Christmas decorations to blankets and pillows. And I’m not the only one; someone was so inspired they even created a Totoro-themed base in the No Man’s Sky video game.

The creator, tosk777, built this amazing creation entirely within the game, without using any modifications. While there isn’t a guide available yet, they’re currently making a video tour that will be released on YouTube soon.
It took a very long time to build, and tosk777 mentioned that finding the perfect location was also a challenge.
It took me a few weeks to find the perfect shade of green for the Ghibli scene. Then, I spent more time searching for a location with a sinkhole close enough to realistically place Totoro. I also needed a flat, spacious area to build the house.
We’re almost set! All that’s really needed now is a personalized Corvette Catbus, and perhaps a landing pad designed to look like a bus stop. It would also be great to have more character customization options, such as Totoro’s leaf umbrella – or even just a red umbrella similar to Satsuki’s.
