Forget daydreaming about people – this new game lets you fall in love with… your cleaning products?
Dating simulators are known for being unusual games, letting players build relationships with all sorts of unexpected characters. Date Everything lets you date furniture, Paaplus turns your partner into a talking alpaca, and in Tank Dating Simulator, you can even romance tanks disguised as girls!
Okay, so I just stumbled across this wild new game called Souji Souai Love. Basically, you date… your cleaning supplies. Seriously! I don’t even know what to think, but it’s definitely something else.
Souji Souai Love lets you manage a team of cleaning idols
I’m so excited about Souji Souai Love! From what I’ve seen in the trailer – and Automaton first reported it – you play a new producer who’s in charge of getting the idol group Shining4 ready for their very first performance. Hopefully, my office is tidy because I’ve got a lot to do!
Throughout this process, you’ll naturally get to know the person better – through things like romance, supporting their growth, and, surprisingly, even sharing in everyday tasks like cleaning. (I’m not sure I need the details on that last one, though!)
You’ll encounter four charming characters representing cleaning products: Kyukyutto as dish soap, Bath Magiclin for baths, Toilet Magiclin for toilets, and Quickle Wiper Wet Sheets for floors. They’re all presented as popular idols with memorable songs and full voice acting.
You can play the game for free on their website – it only takes about 20 minutes, and you don’t need to download anything. Just a warning: it might inspire you to start cleaning and organizing… and maybe even appreciate your cleaning supplies a little too much!
