This airline features a noodle library where you make your own ramen

A South Korean airline is offering travelers a unique experience: a self-serve instant noodle bar in the airport waiting area, letting passengers customize their own quick meal.

Korean Air recently unveiled its updated Prestige East Lounge at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2, and a highlight is a unique self-service station offering a variety of instant ramyeon noodles.

Korean Air’s newly renovated lounge now lets premium passengers create their own personalized noodle bowls. They can choose from various noodles, broths, and toppings, making a quick pre-flight snack into a more satisfying, custom meal.

The newly renovated Prestige Lounge offers around 1,668 square feet of space and can accommodate up to 192 guests. It’s been redesigned with a luxurious, hotel-like feel, moving away from the typical airline lounge experience.

The airport improvements weren’t limited to the ramen shop; they also included a cooking studio with classes taught by chefs, and a small arcade with games like air hockey and claw machines, offering travelers more entertainment while they wait for their flights.

Korean Air reopened its updated lounge on January 14th as part of a larger plan to improve its first and business class airport lounges at Incheon International Airport. More upgrades are scheduled to continue through 2026.

If you’re flying from Terminal 2 and need a quick bite to eat before your flight, the instant noodle bar is a great option to satisfy your cravings before you go.
