A Twitch and YouTube creator received a surprise at his food truck when the mother of someone who had stolen from him came to return the stolen funds.
On March 28th, a customer stole money from the tip jar at Musa_usa’s food truck in Baltimore, Maryland. Musa_usa regularly streams videos about running his business.
Musa was busy preparing an order when someone stole something. He didn’t notice until the customer, who had pretended to go back to their car for money, walked away.
Mother returns money after seeing theft
A few days later, the mother of the thief came to Musa’s truck and offered to pay him back for the money that was stolen.
A moment ago, my son took some money from the tip jar at your stand. I’m his mother, and I’d like to reimburse you. Could you tell me how much he took?
“Please, don’t worry about the money,” Musa said when the woman offered to cover the $30 her son had taken. “I insist on paying you. I didn’t raise my son to steal. He sometimes drinks, and when he does, he makes poor choices. You shouldn’t have to pay for his actions.”
Having received the money, Musa politely asked the woman for a hug, saying, “Thank you very much. Goodnight.”
Although we don’t know who took the money, the problem seems to be over now that it’s been returned and things didn’t get worse.
