Taylor Swift’s new documentary, ‘End of An Era,’ is now available on Disney+. You can currently stream it for free with a simple trick.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour was a massive success, breaking records and becoming the highest-grossing tour ever with over $2 billion in ticket sales. Any fan knows just how popular it was!
Adding to her incredible year, the 2023 film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – featuring footage from her Los Angeles concerts – broke box office records to become the highest-grossing concert film ever, even beating Michael Jackson’s This Is It.
Because of all the excitement surrounding it, the new documentary series, End of An Era, is finally here. It’s available to stream exactly one year after the tour concluded.
How to watch End of An Era free
Currently, the easiest way to watch the first two episodes of the Taylor Swift documentary without paying is through a DirecTV package that includes Disney+. The Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate, and Premier packages all come with a five-day free trial, giving you access.
The final season, titled End of an Era, is available only on Disney+, starting with the first two episodes on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 12am Pacific Time. Just like Netflix, Disney+ doesn’t offer free trials anymore.
The only way to watch DirecTV without paying is through available trials and promotions. To sign up for a DirecTV trial, visit their packages page, choose the plan you want, click ‘Continue,’ and enter your information.
Alternatively, you can simply scroll down the page and click the ‘Start free trial’ button, which will take you directly to the Entertainment package. No matter how you get there, you’ll end up in the same place.
Please add your payment information, but you won’t be charged immediately. If you’d like to avoid any charges, remember to cancel your subscription before the free trial ends.
I always set a reminder for myself, because I definitely don’t want to forget about my package! Unless I’m planning on storing it for a while, of course, but there are a few other options if I need them.

Hulu + Live TV comes with both Disney+ and ESPN, and you can try it free for three days. To sign up, visit this page and click ‘Start your free trial,’ then enter your information. Like with DirecTV, remember to set a reminder to cancel before the trial ends if you don’t want to be charged.
If you have Spectrum’s TV Select, TV Select Signature, or TV Select Plus, you may be able to get Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ included for free.
To find out if you qualify, sign in to your Spectrum account online. Then, go to the TV/Streaming area, scroll down to ‘Your Streaming Apps,’ and look for icons of the streaming services included with your TV plan. Click the arrow next to the service you want to start using.
