There’s a sneaky way to watch The Pitt Season 2 for free

I’m so excited! Season 2 of The Pitt is finally here, and it’s a long one – a full 15 hours of medical drama! It’s dropping on HBO Max this week, and the best part is, there are actually a couple of ways you can watch it for free!

Following the success of its first season, viewers are eagerly awaiting a return to Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center. This time around, the show introduces some new faces, including Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, who will be temporarily filling in for Dr. Robby.

If you enjoyed the first chapter of The Pitt, you’ll love the second! It’s earned a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, proving the initial success wasn’t a one-time event. As we noted in our five-star review, this show is simply outstanding.

If you’re finding it hard to manage your bills this January, you might not want to add another monthly expense just for a streaming service. Luckily, there’s a short-term fix available.

How to watch The Pitt Season 2 for free

Even if you don’t have an HBO Max subscription, you can still watch Season 2 of The Pitt without paying for it right away. The easiest way is to use a TV streaming service that offers it as an extra channel.

Right now, YouTube TV lets new customers try its service free for 21 days. During that trial, you can also add HBO Max, giving you temporary access to all of HBO Max’s shows and movies—including The Pitt—before you commit to a subscription.

To start your free trial, visit the YouTube TV homepage and click the “Try 21 days for $0” button. You’ll then be prompted to sign in with your YouTube account – usually by connecting your Google account – and you’ll see a screen similar to the one shown below.

Then, scroll down to the “Add to Membership” section. Choose a show available on HBO or HBO Max, and you can easily add it to your plan during your free trial.

To get the HBO Max offer, you’ll need to start a YouTube TV free trial and add HBO Max during that trial period. If you decide it’s not for you, remember to cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charges.

With The Pitt Season 2 having 15 episodes, you have two main options: you can watch the first four episodes for free, or you can wait until all the episodes are released and watch them all at once.

Choosing YouTube TV will cost at least $49.99 a month, increasing to $82.99 after the first three months. HBO Max, on the other hand, starts at $10.99 a month with ads, so it’s worth comparing prices to find the best deal for your needs.

You might also be able to get access through special offers and bundles. For instance, Cricket Wireless customers with the Supreme Unlimited plan can get HBO Max with Ads included at no extra cost.

If you’re a Cricket customer with a plan other than Supreme Unlimited, you can switch to that plan to get access to the included streaming service.

To start watching, simply sign in to or create an account on HBO Max. Then, choose “Connect Your Provider” and select “Cricket” from the options. Enter your Cricket Wireless username and password, and you’re all set to enjoy!
