I have a confession: I’ve never seen The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. I know, I know – before you get upset, please just let me feel embarrassed about it! It’s not that I haven’t wanted to see it, it’s just always been on my list of things to do. It’s like how some people haven’t seen classics like Gone with the Wind or Titanic – let’s not judge, okay?
I’ve been putting it off for a long time, but now that the classic horror film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available to stream for free on several services, I’m finally going to watch it and see if it lives up to the hype. Here’s how you can watch it without paying anything.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Is Streaming For Free On Tubi
I recently started browsing Tubi for new horror movies coming out in 2025, and while looking through their huge selection, I had a strange realization. It was like that uneasy feeling when you wonder if you left an appliance on at home – except this time, it hit me that I’d never actually watched The Texas Chain Saw Massacre all the way through. And it didn’t occur to me until Leatherface’s terrifying face was right there on the screen.
Halloween is almost here, and I was worried I wouldn’t have time to watch this movie. But since it’s now free on Tubi and only about 90 minutes long, I think I can fit it in. I’ve seen enough clips over the years to know it’s definitely not family-friendly, though – I’ll be watching it after the kids (and maybe even my wife) are asleep!
If you haven’t seen this classic film, or if you’d like to watch it again without searching for your old DVDs, you can find it through the link below.

But This Isn’t The Only Horror Classic Streaming For Free On Tubi
I haven’t seen The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, but Tubi has a lot of other great classic horror movies. I’ve found some of my favorites there, like David Schmoeller’s Puppet Master and George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, including the 1990 remake directed by Tom Savini. Tubi’s library is huge, and it’s free!
I could list tons of great classic horror movies like The Evil Dead, Hellraiser, or The Thing, but you understand the idea. Finding the really good ones means sifting through a lot of less impressive films – think of it like searching through the bargain section at a store.
Look, I’m a bit embarrassed about the whole Texas Chain Saw Massacre situation, but trust me, I’m working on fixing it, and it’ll be sorted out quickly. I’m a huge movie fan, and I definitely don’t want this hanging over me!
