‘The White Lotus’ Renewed for Season 4 at HBO (EXCLUSIVE)

Vacation extended!

“The White Lotus” Season 4 has officially been greenlit by HBO. Filming is being eyed for 2026.

It remains undecided if the fourth season will be set in a specific location, or if any original cast members will reappear. However, showrunner Mike White has proposed concepts to Casey Bloys, who is the head of HBO and Max, as mentioned back in November.

The preliminary release of the series occurs several weeks prior to the February 16th debut of Season 3, which transports the Emmy-winning ensemble dramedy to Thailand. Notably, Natasha Rothwell is the sole returning cast member this time, following Jennifer Coolidge’s return as Tanya McQuoid in the previous season.

In both seasons, we’ve seen storylines revolving around troubled tourists indulging in their worst, often privileged behaviors at the picturesque White Lotus resort. Their actions collide with the hotel employees, creating an intricate web of events. Both seasons also include a puzzling death as a central plot point.

In Thailand along with Rothwell, there’s a group of other stars including Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Christian Friedel, Julian Kostov, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola and Blackpink member Lisa.

In its initial two seasons, ‘The White Lotus’ garnered a total of 15 Emmy Awards, with the first season earning recognition as an exceptional limited series. After its return with Coolidge and transitioning to another installment, the show was now competing in the drama category.

The series is executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
