The Villain In 007 First Light May Be Played By Someone Totally Unexpected

Just before The Game Awards, a trailer for the upcoming James Bond game, 007: First Light, was accidentally released online. The trailer seems to reveal the game’s main villain, reportedly named Bawma, and shows that Lenny Kravitz will be playing the role.

Lenny Kravitz is famous for his music, but he’s also acted in films, notably playing Cinna in The Hunger Games series. He frequently appears in his own music videos as well.

In the new game, First Light, Patrick Gibson stars as a young James Bond, showing fans how he first became 007. The game also features a talented cast, including Priyanga Burford (from No Time To Die) as M, Lennie James (known from The Walking Dead) as Greenway, Kiera Lester (of Death in Paradise) as Miss Moneypenny, and Alastair Mackenzie (from Andor) as Q.

Gemma Chan, known for her roles in Marvel films, plays Dr. Selina Tan, and Noemie Nakai, from the series Tokyo Vice, plays Miss Roth.

The game First Light will be released on March 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. It’s being created by IO Interactive, the studio known for the Hitman series, and they are also working on another game in the fantasy genre.

The trailer is expected to be revealed at The Game Awards today, December 11th, so fans shouldn’t have to wait much longer. You can find details on how to watch the show and what to anticipate in TopMob’s preview.
