The Traitors faced a difficult choice: which of the four blindfolded and tied celebrities – Ron, Eric, Caroline, or Kristen – would they eliminate? The answer would be revealed at breakfast. As each potential victim arrived, Monét cleverly questioned them, hoping to uncover clues that would expose a Traitor. Unbeknownst to Monét, Lisa Rinna was the one being secretly tested.
Ron was the first to share his account, claiming he heard three Traitors, one of whom had very quiet footsteps. He confidently stated that Maura was the most likely candidate, but he’s been incorrect in the past. Lisa followed, and managed to stick to a single, well-delivered story. Despite being nervous, she didn’t fall for Monét’s attempt to mislead her and accurately described the henchman’s mask. She did, however, get overly specific, identifying the tree she was tied to as a maple and claiming she was freed with an ax – details Ron hadn’t mentioned, as Johnny pointed out.
Eric suspects there were two people working against the group and believes he overheard a revealing laugh, but he’s keeping the source a secret for now. Sadly, Caroline was eliminated, leaving Kristen as the final survivor. When confronted by those who voted her out, Caroline angrily called Rinna a name. Lisa responded coldly, telling Caroline to go back to Dubai. Caroline had hoped the women would support each other, but her trust in that idea ultimately led to her elimination. By voting Caroline out, Lisa and Candiace likely hoped to shift some suspicion away from themselves.
It’s good that Michael, who often seems pale and withdrawn, is finally listening to everyone and staying quiet. However, Tiffany still believes he’s disloyal, and Yam Yam – who oddly called the recent elimination a “ceremony” – and Ron (who remains a suspect after eliminating Porsha and aligning with Donna) agree. While Tiffany is accusing others, Colton is turning the tables, claiming she’s been the one trying to control the game, which he sees as a warning sign.
Before they can be banished, the group has a dangerous mission to complete, led by Alan, who’s wearing a surprisingly formal, scarecrow-like outfit. They need to burn ten dummy figures, and with each one, they get to choose someone whose protective shield will also be destroyed. It’s a bit concerning that Alan is wearing a straw-filled jacket near fire, but the show’s creators likely made sure he was safe. After all, someone needs to look after Lala on set!
Michael, who clearly isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, immediately grabbed the wrong item – a corn doll instead of the spears it was supposed to guide him to. Tiffany was understandably upset that her shield was destroyed, so she dramatically burned a shield belonging to Monét in retaliation. Monét, meanwhile, shared her suspicions about Lisa with Candiace, and immediately told another ally. Finally, Yam Yam’s shield burned last, and he broke down crying – which, while endearing, felt a bit much in the moment. This left Michael (who resembles a less handsome version of the Smurf villain Gargamel), along with Ron, Tiffany, Monét, Tara, Stephen, Lisa, Maura, Johnny, and Yam Yam, all without shields.
Before anyone is eliminated as a Traitor, the group has to go through a Round Table discussion, and right now, Tiffany and Ron are the main suspects, though opinions are divided. Colton unexpectedly accuses Tiffany, saying he’s targeting her tonight, but it doesn’t seem to faze her. While Colton is good at things like tracking people, he’s no match for Tiffany when it comes to the game. He struggles to make a convincing case, mainly arguing that she’s too strategic. I did find it amusing when he asked how to spell her name before the vote, and even more amusing was her reply: “T-i-f-f-a-n-y, like the company.”
Tiffany is a strategic player, as Colton pointed out, but her planning isn’t about being a ‘Traitor,’ it’s simply good gameplay. However, her strategy backfired when she nominated three people – Ron, Yam Yam, and Michael – as potential Traitors. This scattered her focus and weakened her argument, as she was trying to build a case against multiple people instead of concentrating on a single target.
While everyone was talking over each other, Maura managed to ask Ron why he kept saying her name. He explained he’d heard faint footsteps while tied up, but Maura quickly dismissed his story. However, others had heard things too, and Eric seized the moment to accuse Tiffany: “I’m almost certain that laugh was you.” I found that amusing, but Eric clearly wouldn’t have recognized my laugh, and honestly, Tiffany isn’t the type to make such a silly mistake.
Despite Candiace’s attempt to support her, Tiffany’s elimination felt sealed by the group’s reaction, representing a significant loss for the show. As she left, Tiffany stated the others had proven they didn’t deserve her, highlighting her loyalty. This unexpected turn of events left Colton and Eric stunned and upset.
The Traitors now have five people to choose from to eliminate: Johnny, Tara, Maura, Stephen, and Monét. They’re hesitant to get rid of Ron, Yam Yam, or Michael, even though they’re suspected of being Traitors themselves. It’s unclear if they’ll break up the figure-skating duo, send Maura home, or eliminate Stephen, who hasn’t had much screen time. Things aren’t looking good for Monét, as she’s been mentioning Lisa’s name, raising suspicions. With a two-episode week, we’ll find out who goes soon.
