Despite all the planning by the moms (known as ‘MomTok’) about how to tell Taylor about Dakota’s affair, Dakota ruined it by confessing to Taylor himself that he’d slept with Shinia. He also conveniently mentioned that everyone in MomTok already knew and had kept it a secret, which understandably made Taylor furious and led to a major phone call meltdown. As Miranda points out, once Taylor gets angry, there’s no calming her down.

Taylor is extremely upset and has been frantically contacting people in the MomTok community, demanding to know why no one warned her about Dakota and Shinia. She feels deeply betrayed and, in a private interview, expressed disbelief that MomTok would side with Shinia, whom she doesn’t trust, over her. Apparently, Shinia intended to share information about Dakota with Taylor at an event tonight, but Taylor has decided not to attend, realizing she’s too upset to make good decisions right now.

During a phone call, Miranda confessed she’d known about the drama for a week but agreed Shinia’s actions were awful. Meanwhile, Jessi and Mayci were getting ready when Taylor called, and Jessi quickly changed the subject, revealing that Dakota almost had sex with Jenna too. Mayci validated Taylor’s feelings, but Taylor wasn’t interested in hearing it. She was furious and declared war on Shinia and anyone still supporting her. When she wasn’t busy texting or calling her friends from “MomTok,” Taylor was publicly airing her grievances online, even directly calling out Shinia. Her fellow “MomTok” personalities agreed this wasn’t a good move for her as the Bachelorette.

Shinia showed up at the Sunday Sinners party right when Mikayla got a call from Taylor. (Mikayla smartly said she’d call back later.) The women immediately confronted Shinia, wanting to know why she’d slept with Dakota, especially since he’d already been dishonest about other relationships. They couldn’t understand if she really believed she had a future with him. Shinia surprisingly answered yes, which confused everyone. They then remembered they needed to return Taylor’s call and brace for another scolding. However, Shinia pointed out that if Taylor made Miranda choose between them, Shinia had always been a more supportive friend to Miranda than Taylor had been.

It’s remarkable how understanding the women are being with Taylor during this difficult time, possibly because they suspect Dakota is intentionally causing problems. Miranda initially believed Dakota orchestrated this situation, and Mayci suggests it could be a tactic to isolate Taylor – by getting close to his friends, Dakota creates distance between them and then positions herself as the only support he has. Taylor believes Dakota deliberately tried to push her into a breakdown to prevent her from continuing on The Bachelorette. Dakota hasn’t shared his own perspective on what’s happening.

Beyond the focus on Taylor, Mikayla and Jace are facing serious problems in their marriage. They’ve reached a stalemate with their intimacy, and Mikayla has even considered suggesting Jace find intimacy elsewhere. Jace, in a conversation with Conner, admits he’s more hurt by a lack of affection than the lack of sex. Feeling trapped, they’ve decided to separate for a while. Mikayla needs space to heal, and Jace believes they shouldn’t reconcile until she’s ready to fully commit. Despite the issues, Mikayla feels they have a strong connection otherwise, but sex is a core need for him and a painful subject for her. They share an embrace as Mikayla leaves with Mayci.

Mikayla is looking forward to the main photoshoot as a way to move past recent sadness. It’s the first time the moms from ‘MomTok’ have been together in months, and even though Demi isn’t there, things are tense. Everyone is worried about how Taylor will act when she arrives, as she’s coming later than the rest of them. Thankfully, Taylor has calmed down and recognizes she made mistakes, offering a general apology that everyone accepts. Miranda, though, will be careful about fully trusting Taylor again in their friendship.

There’s also tension brewing between Whitney and Jen. Whitney has told Conner that Jen has been acting strangely cold at the Dancing With the Stars studio, while Jen has confided in Zac that Whitney only acts friendly when the cameras are rolling. During the photoshoot for the show, Whitney tried to share her excitement about landing the role in Chicago with Jen, but Jen revealed that Zac had already told her about it a week prior. Whitney found this strange and, after thinking about it, felt hurt. They see each other daily, so she wonders why Jen wouldn’t have mentioned it to her directly.

Jen told Whitney, in a detached way, that they weren’t really friends. She pointed to Whitney continuing to be friends with Demi, who had bullied her, as evidence. Whitney was shocked, and her immediate reaction was, understandably, a surprised outburst.

Jen insists Whitney is entirely self-absorbed, but Whitney tries to prove her wrong, pointing out times she defended Jen and supported her when she was ill. She also argues that Jen doesn’t have the right to claim ownership over winning Dancing With the Stars. Whitney feels Jen holds others to higher standards than herself. However, Jen remains unresponsive, seemingly unfazed as Whitney becomes increasingly frustrated. Jen points out Whitney is yelling, and Whitney admits she is. The conversation quickly spirals, and Whitney ultimately has to walk away, leaving viewers to react to the argument. It’s unclear why Jen struggles to trust Whitney’s friendship, but it seems to be more than just about their shared connection to Demi.
