Okay, so I’ve been playing Dispatch, and it’s a really unique mix – it’s like a visual novel meets a management sim, with this… hacking thing thrown in. Honestly, that hacking part is kinda divisive. A lot of players don’t really enjoy it, and I get why – it can be super frustrating! It also gets harder with each chapter, which is a bit much. I’m honestly dreading what Episodes 7 and 8 will throw at us. But, I did find a little trick that makes things way easier, so that’s a relief!
Trick to help you in hacking minigame in Dispatch
It’s becoming increasingly challenging to hack in Dispatch. Recent updates have added a new layer of complexity – you now need to collect electricity to open and close pathways. Combine that with the ever-present, faster-than-you antivirus programs chasing you, and it creates a tough experience. But the developers have included a helpful feature for players who find these minigames difficult…

It’s been a while since the first couple of episodes, so you might not remember the initial setup. One setting in particular is really helpful for hacking.
- Go to Settings
- The second position on the list is “Unlimited hacking attempts.”
- Turn it on.
That’s it! It’s a small change, but it really improves things, especially after the later episodes and the ending of chapter 6. The hacking sections were becoming annoying, but with unlimited tries, they’re actually pretty enjoyable. Just be warned, the final hacking minigame in Chapter 6 is still quite frustrating.
I hope this is helpful! I’m really enjoying the rest of Dispatch so far and can’t wait to see what happens next.
