The story, “Mr. Scrooge’s Naughty List,” begins when Tabby Coyne brings her new boyfriend, Jonny Koth, to a reunion with her old college friends. Her friends, including Kelsey Whalen and Chandler Fenning, are planning a Christmas party.

Okay, so things took a really dark turn at this get-together. Someone’s showing up as Ebenezer Scrooge and is systematically targeting our group of friends. It’s like this killer is forcing us to confront our pasts – we have to figure out what they want, or who they are, by digging into what happened before. It’s seriously unsettling.

Verdict on The Naughty List of Mr. Scrooge

Recap

A group of former college friends get together for a Christmas reunion, but their celebration turns deadly when someone from their past seeks revenge. As a killer targets them, they’re forced to confront old secrets and figure out who wants them dead.

Best Parts

This movie follows the classic slasher formula, introducing a new group of characters who become targets. It hits all the expected beats with impactful deaths, but also manages to build suspense by keeping the ultimate reveal a mystery.

Worst Parts

It’s tough for slasher films to really stand out, and unfortunately, this one doesn’t quite reach the standard set by most others. The characters aren’t particularly memorable, and neither the killer nor the unique idea behind the film are as effective as they could have been.

Final ThoughtsThe Naughty List of Mr. Scrooge is the typical late-night slasher.
