NIS America released a new trailer recapping the story of The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon. Be warned: it contains spoilers for Trails Through Daybreak II.
This new trailer follows the release of two demos: the ‘Trails beyond the Horizon Story Demo’ (available on all platforms) and the ‘Battle Demo’ (exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4). The Story Demo can be downloaded from Steam, PlayStation 4 & 5, and the eShop. The Battle Demo is available for PS5 and PS4.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon will be released on January 15, 2026, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon will launch on January 15, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG). A limited edition version for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch is available for pre-order exclusively through the NIS Online Store.
