Delighted to share that I’m eagerly anticipating the premiere of the second season of “The Last of Us,” which is set to air in April, as Sony officially announced this exciting news during their presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this week.
During the hour-long press conference, representatives from Sony confirmed they’re teaming up to create a cinematic version of the video game “Horizon Zero Dawn”. Earlier plans had been for it to be developed as a series on Netflix. However, further details about this movie project are yet to be disclosed except that both Columbia Pictures and Sony PlayStation are collaborating on the film adaptation, as hinted by Asad Qizilbash, head of PlayStation Productions.
Neil Druckmann, head of Naughty Dog’s studio and creative director, confirmed the release date for “The Last of Us.” He also shared a short sneak peek of Season 2 with the audience, offering fans a quick look at Pedro Pascal as Joel Miller and Bella Ramsey as Ellie Williams, along with other significant characters.
