‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Final Season Gets Premiere Date, Drops Teaser

The final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” will premiere on Hulu on April 8.

Initially, there will be three installments of the dystopian drama released together, after which new episodes will air each week until the grand finale scheduled for May 27.

In a teaser trailer for the final season, Elizabeth Moss’ character June Osborne speaks, “They thought that these clothes they made us wear defined who we are, marking us with red – symbolizing blood. They failed to remember that it’s also a color of fury. The dress transformed into our uniform, and in doing so, we became an army.

As per the summary for Season 6: “June’s strong will and tenacity lead her to re-engage in the struggle against Gilead. Luke and Moira become part of the resistance movement. Serena makes attempts to reform Gilead, while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia grapple with the consequences of their actions. Nick undergoes significant tests of his character. This concluding chapter of June’s journey underscores the significance of hope, bravery, unity, and perseverance in the quest for justice and liberty.
